“Neighbors helping Neighbors” means that mountain residents can access aid through Mountain Resource Center to meet their immediate needs. With the help of volunteer Family Advocates, individuals and families receive support and a “starting point” in resolving crisis needs such as:

Food Pantry	Social services applications
Housing	Mental Health Services
Clothing	Diapers and other baby supplies
Employment	Utility assistance and firewood
Legal referrals	Domestic violence services
Counseling referrals	Prescription assistance
Vision or dental care	Financial Assistance - ADD
	Minor Home Repairs and Weatherization
